CREACTIVE is a prosthetic system that seeks to strengthen the creative-manual apprenticeship of children, in school age, with amputation below the elbow. It helps them achieve their dreams, easing the learning process, imagination development and expression of their personality.

PROSTHESIS 

The prosthesis contributes to the academic formation of children with below elbow level limb deficiency or amputation performing creative-manual activities, in common workplaces at school and in domestic environments.

The CREACTIVE prosthesis is composed of three main components. The arm, which acts as an armor-frame; the crown, with which you can use pencils, colors and markers; and the spatula, which purpose is to cut and fold.

MANUAL

The manual is a procedural guide that, in conjunction with the prosthesis, seeks to develop the motor skills to allow children to use their residual limb in productive activities in the future. Starting with simple tasks, such as tearing paper with the prosthetic device assistance to more complex tasks. For example, through graphic descriptions and sequence instructions of actions and movements that must be performed to execute a specific activity.

 

 

 

 

CREATIVE-MANUAL ACTIVITIES

Each activity has different templates with curated content to help acquire homeland identity and healthy social behavior.

Some of these activities are designed to facilitate group dynamics, such as the Hybrid; others are to play and compete, like the helicopter, and others are templates to build useful objects, such as the Wallet

 

 

ACTIVITIES BOOKLET

This booklet of creative activities is designed based on the knowledge learned at school ages (between 5 - 12 years old).  It is also adapted to follow the curricular regulations established for preschool education. (2 - 4 years old).

Each activity has different templates, so they can be done several times without having repetitive content., This way, the child will learn how to do named activity just with a blank sheet of paper, ultimately becoming self-sufficient.
